1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy sets out the commitment of DataXing Digital India Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates (collectively, "DataXing") to the privacy of its panel members ("Panellists", "Panellist") and governs Panellists' rights regarding privacy and data protection.
This Privacy Policy applies to the DataXing Digital panel known as MalaysiaPolls, altogether identified in this Privacy Policy as the DataXing Digital Panels (the "Panels"). For clarity, this policy is publicly available on the MalaysiaPolls panel site as "MalaysiaPolls Panel Privacy Policy".
Panellists are members of the Panels, operated by DataXing Digital, for which DataXing Digital acts as the data user/data controller for the purposes of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia ("PDPA").
Participation in our panels, surveys, and research activities is entirely voluntary. By registering to the Panels and accepting these terms, you confirm that you have read and understood the terms of this Privacy Policy. We ask you to read this Privacy Policy carefully.
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, personal data means any information in respect of commercial transactions that relates directly or indirectly to an individual who is identified or identifiable, as defined under the PDPA.
2. Lawful Collection and Use of Data
We collect your personal data in several ways such as through our website(s) (for example your panel portal), our mobile applications, and other activities such as social media, apps, online, face-to-face or telephone studies or other research activities. We may add other ways and activities moving forward but will always operate in compliance with this Privacy Policy.
Under the PDPA, we process personal data based on one or more of the following lawful grounds:
- where you have provided consent;
- where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you;
- where processing is required to comply with a legal obligation;
- where processing is necessary to protect vital interests;
- where processing is necessary for legitimate interests, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights;
- where processing is carried out for research purposes, subject to PDPA safeguards.

This Privacy Policy is reviewed regularly and may be amended from time to time. The most current version will always be available on the MalaysiaPolls panel site. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updates.
